About
I grew up in Yorkshire, with Haworth and the Brontë Parsonage on my doorstep, which sparked early ambitions to make my career in writing and publishing.
After reading Modern Languages at the University of Oxford, I worked at Blackwell’s in Oxford and taught French before starting my first job in-house in children's publishing.
Running my own successful small business as a freelancer has given me the opportunity to work with a wide network of inspiring editors, writers and illustrators. Since 2024, I have worked in-house part-time at a children’s publisher in London, working on colour books, media and heritage brands, and children’s and YA fiction.
I trained in copy-editing, proofreading and commissioning at the Publishing Training Centre in London.
